To calculate battery backup time of UPS/IPS first of all we need to calculate total power in watt, say a man is would like to use,
1. Celling fan = 5 Set. = ( 5*90 watt) = 450 watt
2. Tube light = 4 Pcs. = (4*50 watt) = 200 watt
3. LED light = 4 Pcs. = (4*20 watt) = 80 watt
4. Computer = 1 set. = (1* 20 watt) = 20 watt
Total power consumption = (450+200+80+20) watt
= 750 watt
So, we are going to use 1000 VA UPS and 200 AH battery

First of all we need to find out the load/current, so
P = V*I
I = P/V
Current, I = 750/12
= 62.5 Ampere Here, V = 12 Volt (Battery Volt)
P = 750 Watt (Power Consumption)
So, Total Backup time = 200 AH/ 62.5 A
= 3.2 Hour
= (3.2 * .7) Hour, Here .7 is the battery efficiency
= 2.24 Hour
= 2 Hour (.24*60), (to convert .24 in min need to multiply it by 60)
= 2 Hour 14 Minute
So, Total Battery backup time will be 2 hour 14 min
